Essaie "kilocore", "xenon", "gekko", "broadway" ou encore "blue gene" à la place de "cell". Au fait, "does that seem likely ?", ça veut dire "Est-ce que ça vous semble probable ?".
Pour avoir la meilleure réponse, il faut taper titan, e600, 8641D, 8640D, QorIQ, P2020, p4080, pa6t, 970mp, 83290 ou pwrficient ce qui nous avance pas beaucoup plus d'ailleurs.

Merci corto pour ta suggestion de CPU.
Je ne savais pas qu'il y avait autant de modèles 'power pc' développés. Avec toutes les indications que l'on a, on arrive toujours pas à savoir lequel est-ce.

artblink, pour le moment Morphos ne fonctionne pas encore sur G5 donc le plus puissant c'est un powermac G4 dual processeurs à 1,42 Ghz (modèle super bruyant) et le mac mini à 1,5Ghz. Ensuite y'a les portables mais bon y'a eu tellement de modèles je ne sais pas lesquels seront supportés, mais c'est du matos excellents les portables d'apple. Donc le mac, c'est du deuxième main mais cela reste du très bon matériel. Un processeur G4 bien maitrisé est une belle bête tout de même. :)

On pourra comparer lorsque les spécifications seront complètes mais je vois mal l'ambitieux projet faire moins bien qu'un mac d'il y a quatre ans. Surtout que là on a du PCIe, du SATA2, DDR2, Xorro et Xena avec un peu de chance on aura aussi une radeon HD (vu que Xena n'est pas un chip video). Juste l'inconnue, le CPU...

Ca flaire bon, ces spécifications tout de même... Me réjouis d'être demain, on en saura un peu plus sur Xena.

Mhhh non je ne crois pas, le draco était orienté video. Ici, on a non seulement pas (encore) les softs mais en plus si fallait des drivers pour les cartes additionels, etc...

Disons que c'est un amiga one évolué qui se voit ajouter un custom chip et un port original que l'on ne trouve dans nulle autre machine.

Pour moi, il n'y a pas encore assez de puces sur cette carte :). Là, je suppose qu'il y a un bridge (ou je ne sais trop quoi) qui fait un peu de tout et moins de puces dédiées à telles ou telles tâches.

Il s'agit d'un ordinateur complet (It's a computer we're making, not just a motherboard) puissant (it's high-end hardware)... sur lequel l'Amiga OS 4 fonctionne (it is the most powerful AmigaOS hardware ever).
La carte mère à dû être testée longuement car il ne s'agit pas d'une version test ou évaluation (and no it's not an evaluation board!)
Espérons que ce soit pour 2010 :p Enfin, d'après ces infos, cela devrait l'être.
