Latest News on the AmigaOne X1000 First Contact (Second Batch)

At the Amiwest 2011 show, A-EON Technology and AmigaKit announced the
ordering process of the AmigaOne X1000 "First Contact" systems for
end-users. ?Before the end of 2011, interest was strong and we sold
out of the initial batch.

Since that time we have received a lot of interest from customers who
wish to purchase the second batch. ?Manufacturing commenced in March
and will be completed this month. Delivery to customers is expected to
be on an on-going process starting from July until the end of 2012.
We will give priority to the customers who registered but
unfortunately missed out narrowly last year. ?The remaining systems
will be allocated to customers who registered on a first-come,
first-served basis, subject to making a timely deposit payment.

The next release of AmigaOne X1000s will feature a firmware update and
a driver update. ?These software updates will also be made available
to AmigaOne X1000 systems already delivered to customers. ?More
details to follow on this in future A-EON Technology press releases.


What happens next?

If you have received this email, you are registered as interested in
ordering the next batch of AmigaOne X1000.

In the next few weeks, we will contact registered customers offering
the chance of placing a firm order which will require a deposit of GBP
Sterling ?425, deductible from the final cost which will be payable in
GBP Sterling shortly before the system ships to you.

We will then start to assemble, quality test and deliver the systems
according to the configurations ordered by each customer.
